Full entry readable content in Google Reader

Super Google Reader is a Google Chrome extension that enables full content feeds for Google Reader. It provides readable content or iframing of feed entries. Settings are per feed or folder and are transparently built into Google Reader.

Installation

  1. Visit the Super Google Reader extension page and install the extension.
  2. Once the extension is installed, refresh your Google Reader tab if it is already open.
  3. Enable full entry content in Google Reader on a per feed or folder basis via the "Super settings.." dropdown (pictured below), and selecting an either of these options :
    • "Full entry content" : show the entry link in an iframe.
    • "Readable content" : extract the readable content from the entry link and display it.
  4. Enable full entry content as a global default for all feeds and folders via "Setting" (top right), "Google Reader settings", "Super" tab, and checking "Default to open all entries as readable content" or "Default to open all entries as previews (iframes)".
